Beijing Shougang Shangri-La Hotel

The Shangri-La Hotel Beijing is located at No. 68 Shijingshan Road, within the Shougang Park in Shijingshan District, Beijing. Housed in a century-old industrial facility, it seamlessly blends steel industry heritage with modern luxury hotel aesthetics.

The hotel's exterior preserves the iconic industrial cooling towers, creating a striking contrast with modern glass curtain walls and showcasing a perfect dialogue between industrial heritage and contemporary design. Dongguan Webor Furniture Co., Ltd. delivered full-chain furniture services for this project, handling detailed design development, manufacturing, and on-site installation across all spaces, including the lobby, restaurant, guest rooms, and suites.

The project involves retrofitting an old factory with a unique structural layout, demanding exceptional furniture adaptability. Webor Furniture collaborated closely with the design team to refine technical drawings, repeatedly optimizing dimensions and structures for the high-ceiling lobby and irregular suite spaces. This approach resolved installation challenges inherent to the historic building, balancing the raw industrial aesthetic with the warm finish of our furniture to deliver precise, production-ready construction drawings.

Lobby lounge furniture features high-wear fabric designed for high-traffic hotel environments. Dining tables and chairs complement the hotel's industrial aesthetic. Guest rooms and suites feature eco-friendly materials paired with premium quiet hardware, undergoing rigorous triple-stage quality checks from raw material sourcing to production and final shipment, meeting Shangri-La International Hotels' strict quality standards.

The renovation site presented complex conditions. Webor assembled a dedicated installation team that planned the entry strategy based on the park's construction environment, ensuring an orderly and complete installation of furniture throughout all spaces. The lobby furniture is designed for the 20-meter high atrium; dining tables and chairs are arranged to align with restaurant traffic flow; guest rooms offer a simple and comfortable style; and custom suite furniture clearly defines living and sleeping zones. The final result closely matches the original design intent.

The hotel also features unique family-themed rooms. Webor Furniture provides custom-designed furnishings for children's spaces, using safe, eco-friendly materials to create fun interactive elements like treehouse beds and slides, ensuring a warm and playful stay for families.
